It's the middle of the year. How are you?

The middle of the year is an opportunity to pause and reflect on where you’ve been, where you’re at, and where you want to go.

It allows you to recognise your progress, digest your learnings, celebrate your achievements, and identify what you need to focus on in order to move forward in the direction you wish.

To check-in, set yourself up in one of your happy places, with your favourite drink, and spend 30 mins journaling about the following questions. Soak up the clarity this exercise is sure to bring.

  • What’s most important to me?

    • How have I been living in alignment with these factors so far this year?

    • Has anything been hindering me from doing so?

  • What goal/s am I currently working towards?

    • Why are these goals important to me?

    • What progress have I made so far?

    • What behaviours have allowed me to experience this progress?

    • What behaviours have hindered my progress?

    • What are my next steps and when will I take these by?

  • What strategies am I drawing upon on a weekly basis to support my wellbeing?

    • Are there any strategies I want to be implementing regularly but am not? If so, what’s hindering me?

  • In what ways am I nurturing my most important relationships?

    • Is there anything I’d like to do further to nurture these relationships?

  • What’s been my favorite day so far this year? What made this day so great?

  • Imagine that it’s the 31st of December ... What would I like to be thinking, feeling and doing by then?

    • What daily, weekly and monthly actions do I need to take to achieve this?

So, how was that experience for you? What did you get out of it?
